Palermo president Zamparini threatens to quit after Parma defeat

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is ready to RESIGN after last night's 2-1 defeat to Parma.

A last minute penalty converted by Igor Budan won the three points for Hector Cuper's team and left Zamparini absolutely fuming.

The Palermo supremo said: "This cannot go on. We had a legitimate goal cancelled out and a penalty awarded against us that was never there.

"This is an unacceptable situation. I cannot do more, I must resign."
