Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has dismissed talk of selling Javier Pastore to AS Roma.

Pastore has been repeatedly linked with a transfer to the new Roma when investor Thomas Di Benedetto takes over.

"Every day we read different things in the newspapers. The Roman papers are having fun by inventing stories, but Pastore will not go to Roma.

"Di Benedetto still has to prove his potential," said Zamparini.
