Palermo president Zamparini tells Inter Milan to get serious about Cavani

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has told Inter Milan to put their money where their mouth is if they want to sign Edison Cavani.

The Uruguay international has been linked with a January move to Inter.

Asked if Inter President Massimo Moratti had been in touch, Zamparini replied: "No, but let me say one thing. If Inter want Cavani there are not many hoops to jump through.

"Moratti and I should talk and everything would then be concluded between us. If Moratti wants him then he shouldn't do anything other than simply tell me.

"Last year Cavani was valued around €15m. This year we don't have the same stability because we don't have the intention of selling the player.

"We will evaluate the situation again next June."
