Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has sided with Chelsea in their compo row with Fiorentina striker Adrian Mutu.
"It is a very high-cost sanction for Mutu, but if the damage he did to the club was serious then I don't see why he should pay less," Zamparini said of the ruling that Mutu must pay £14.6 million to Chelsea.
"The damage must be proportional to the compensation."
