Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has paid tribute to AS Roma sports director Walter Sabatini.

Sabatini was the Rosanero's transfer chief for two years before he resigned from the post in November 2010.

"I'd take him back straight away," Palermo President Zamparini told Radio Radio. "We talk every now and again, that pleases me.

"Right now, he's one of the best talent scouts in circulation and he is proving that by the players he is bringing to Italy."
