Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has rejected rumours fullback Federico Balzaretti will join PSG in January.

The Italian international is keen on a switch to the French capital given that his girlfriend works for a ballet company in the city.

"Balzaretti will not join Paris Saint-Germain in January," said Zamparini. "He is going nowhere, he'll remain with us."
