Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has no regrets sacking Italy coach Cesare Prandelli in the past.

Prandelli took Venezia to Serie A in his first season, in 2000-01, but was removed from office by Zamp very soon into his second term.

"I sacked him 15 years ago when he was Coach of Venezia. Prandelli was with Venezia one year and five Sundays with me.

"I excused him because he lost the first five games of the season. If I don't pay at least two Coaches a year then I'm not happy."
