Palermo president Zamparini: Pastore race decided between Chelsea, Man City and Roma

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed both Chelsea and Manchester City are competing for Javier Pastore.

Zamparini said this week he had received a €45m offer for the Argentine international and has interest from several top European clubs.

"I cannot say who has the advantage between Chelsea, Manchester City or Roma. I can only underline that I'm interested in cash deals," Zamparini told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"We are at the final stages and will evaluate the offers on Tuesday. When we see which the real proposals are, then we can go forward."

"When Stefano Pioli signed on to be the Coach of Palermo, he knew Pastore wouldn't be in his squad. We have players who can do well and you'll see he will often start with Josip Ilicic behind two strikers."
