Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is back on board over their Champions League prospects.

Last week, Zamparini wrote off their top four chances, but now, after victory over Chievo Verona, he is happy again.

Zamparini said: "The lads believe in the Champions League and so do I.

"It was a positive performance. It was important to get back into our stride after last week's defeat in the derby.

"It's a shame about the error in defence, but we did well. Things like this happen."
