Palermo coach Maurizio Zamparini insists any coach he appoints must listen to him.
The fiery patron has fired many Coaches during his career and publicly told Devis Mangia to scrap the 4-4-2 system this month.
"Mangia is young and intelligent, which is why he knows how to listen to advice," Zamparini told Udineseblog.it ahead of Sunday's game.
"Let's just remind everyone of something: I have been in football for 30 years and I think I have a good understanding of the sport, not just from a directorial level. Every time I put my experience at the disposal of the Coach and not just my money.
"This is why my tacticians have the duty to listen to me. Udinese patron Giampaolo Pozzo is the same. We are not idiots and our contact with the technical staff is down to the competence that matured over a number of years."
