Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini can't see Lazio suffering relegation.
The Rome club have dropped into the relegation zone and replaced coach Davide Ballardini with Edy Reja last week.
Zamparini said: "Lazio will not be relegated to Serie B. It would be a folly with this squad of players.
"They will not go down with Reja, that's for sure. He will calm the team down and give the players some tranquility."
Lazio may not be in the Champions League places, but they don't deserve to be in their current position. It's still the same team that beat Inter in the Italian Super Cup.
"The inexperience of a young Coach hasn't helped them. The only piece of advice I can give Lazio is the patience I don't have," he joked.
