Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has encouraged Roma to sign his goalkeeper Alberto Fontana.

"For the moment we have not received any calls from Roma," he told Romagiallorossa.com.

"If there were contact for Fontana, I would be more than happy to get rid of him. He does not accept being second choice with us and, probably, he would agree to it at Roma.

"Whenever Roma want to take him, there is absolutely no problem as far as we are concerned."
