Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini insists coach Beppe Iachini's job is safe.
The Rosanero are winless upon their return to Serie A this season.
But Zamparini says: "[The rumours are] all nonsense. Iachini is like a son to me and will stay for another 4-5 years.
"I'm convinced that we will win our next five games. We've been particularly unlucky.
"Against Sampdoria, the victory was ours until we conceded a goal at the end. We deserved the three points against Inter, but only one arrived.
"And then in defence, we have been under great emergency, but on Sunday we will have everyone available. I just hope that we will have more luck [against Cesena]."
