Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is delighted with their work in the January market.

Zamparini said: "We do not think much about the January market. We made some inbound movements, like Federico Balzaretti and outgoing players like having sold Pisano and Diana.

"(Sports director) Rino Foschi has worked very well, I am happy with the work. We tried to take (Torino defender) Gianluca Comotto, but they didn't want to do business."
