Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is happy with their goalkeeper swap with Genoa.
Genoa keeper Rubinho arrives in Sicily in a straight exchange for Marco Amelia.
"It's a transaction that not only satisfies us but Genoa too, and the two goalkeepers are happy as well," Zamparini told Tuttosport.
"Amelia wanted to leave and said so. He had the attitude of a spoilt child and so we decided to sell him.
"I have always liked Rubinho. He is an excellent goalkeeper. He played very well in the Genoa shirt and proved to be a very good player. I hope he will do the same for Palermo."
