Palermo president Zamparini fighting to keep his top kids

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini says he'll do all he can to hold onto their best young players.

Edinson Cavani, Simon Kjaer and Javier Pastore are all attracting major European interest.

“I want to keep our best players and if they want to make that step up in quality, they can do it with us,” said the President.

“Our economic status means the only real option is to invest in young talent when they are not yet confirmed starts.”
