Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini was unhappy with the way coach Stefano Colantuono prepared his team for Sunday's 2-0 home defeat by Roma.
Zamparini said: "I have seen a Palermo which was far behind in preparation compared to Roma, but (Luciano) Spalletti has worked for years on his team, while Colantuono has had Palermo in his hands for only a couple of months.
"I didn't see anything wrong with the team, except the approach to the contest, which I think was wrong."
