Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has heaped praise on sports director Walter Sabatini for their summer market campaign.

He said: "Manuele Blasi is a great purchase. I rate our work in the transfer market as a nine, with Blerim Dzemaili it would have been a ten. However, the Swiss decided to go to Parma.

"We perhaps lack an individual like Amauri, but in all areas of the squad we have first class players. Our strength is in the collective, in one or two years we will become one of the strongest in the championship."
