Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini says he isn't interested in qualifying for the UEFA Cup.

He said: "It is nice to get to the UEFA Cup because it is only rewarding for the position in the standings. But from an economic point of view or visibility, the UEFA Cup is really ridiculous.

"With all the matches of the Champions League between Tuesday and Wednesday, on Thursday no one will see the UEFA Cup, which gives it very little visibility."
