Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini admits he acted as peacemaker as two club supremos almost came to blows at a league meeting last week.
Zamparini was there at the Lega Calcio dinner when Napoli patron Aurelio De Laurentiis and Lazio's Claudio Lotito allegedly came to blows.
"I had great fun! I was a peace-maker, embracing and pulling away first Lotito, then De Laurentiis, who stayed outside with me.
"In my view there were two bottles of red wine extra on each side. All our brains were a little fuzzy.
"It was hilarious because, despite our age, we become children again when in these situations. It was fine and two minutes later they were as friendly as ever."
