Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed interest in Lazio midfielder Valon Behrami.

"I have asked Lotito about him," said Zamparini. "He likes a lot of our players and my director of sport is in touch with him.

"There are only a few hours until Behrami's contract runs out, which makes me think Lotito is considering our offer."
