Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is convinced Simon Kjaer is being offered to English clubs.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been linked with the Denmark international ahead of the January market.
And Zamparini says: "Kjaer has a clause whereby he can leave after this season for abroad, but whoever wants him must give me a cheque for 12 million euros.
"There's been no offer for him. Certainly there are some scouts who come to see this player, but there is no contact.
"If I can keep him another year, hold him, I'd be very happy, and I think he remains very happy. It's clear that his agent has put him on the market, he plans to fill his personal pockets. And it's he who is offering him around Europe."
