Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has slaughtered his coach Francesco Guidolin - but insists his job remains safe!

Zamparini told Controcampo: "I am terrified about our league position, because this team wasn't built for survival.

"The cause of this situation is only him (Guidolin). In the market, there are demands for half the team, which means the players are not lacking.

"Our coach should be more modest, he is too arrogant."

Zamparini amazingly added: "I have no regrets for the dismissal of (Stefano) Colantuono , although having taken our former coach was a mistake. But I have no intention of sacking him."
