Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has rubbished claims Edison Cavani is set to be sold to Inter Milan.

The Uruguay international was linked with Inter in yesterday's press.

But Zamparini says: "I've never met anyone from the Nerazzurri club. It's misconduct from his agent who is moving in a disorganized fashion. If I have evidence, I will start an official warning on behalf of the club.

"He is a very important for us, we are doing very well and we don't need money. I have not built Palermo to sell."
