Palermo offer Agliardi, cash for Livorno keeper Amelia

Palermo are moving for Livorno goalkeeper Marco Amelia.

Controcampo says yesterday's defeat by Siena has convinced Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini to step up his bid for Amelia.

Palermo sports chief Rino Foschi was due in Genoa yesterday for talks with Livorno president Aldo Spinelli. Foschi has offered £1.7 million cash plus keeper Federico Agliardi in exchange for Amelia.
