Palermo are moving for West Brom trialist Marouane Chamakh.

The striker was released by Crystal Palace over the summer.

The Croydon Advertiser says he has recently had a trial with Palace's Premier League rivals West Bromwich Albion, who are managed by former Eagles boss Tony Pulis.

But reports in Italy suggest that Palermo have 'opened talks' to sign the 32-year-old, who is available as a free agent after his release from Palace.
