Palermo midfielder Enzo Maresca has slammed the state of Italian football after victory at AC Milan.
Maresca was involved in the 2-0 win yesterday.
"When you win 0-2 away you tend to think of an opponent being off. Palermo have had a great game and deserved the victory. I want to congratulate the team."
Maresca has also played in England and Spain.
"Differences between Italy and foreign leagues? The World Cup in 2006 hid the crisis of Italian football. There is a lot of work to do, you have to start from scratch and I do not see a bright future for Italian football."
