Palermo have landed Empoli defender Andrea Raggi.

Raggi declared: "It is a great feeling.

"I am very excited to come to Palermo, which is a great place in every sense.

"I knew for a long time that the Sicilians were watching me and they came to an agreement with Empoli a few days ago, leaving me to settle terms today. It will be a four-year contract."
