Palermo forward Franco Vazquez has pledged his international commitment to Italy.

The Argentinian-born 25-year-old has impressed for the Rosanero this season.

He holds Italian citizenship, with his mother having been born in Padua, and would be eligible for the national team.

"I know it's difficult to wear the Argentina shirt," Vazquez told Sky Italia.

"But if Conte were to call me I'd say yes to the Azzurri."
