According to Calcionews24.com, Palermo are mulling over a move for Manchester United teenager Federico Macheda. The Rosanero are ready to offer United 5.5 million for the striker who joined the Reds from Lazio in 2007.
Macheda's deal at Old Trafford expires in 2014, but a string of injuries and just five appearances in all competitions last season have seen him linked with an exit.
However, last week his agent Giovanni Bia denied the possibility of a departure when his client was linked with a loan move away from the Red Devils.
