Palermo have announced skipper Fabrizio Miccoli is leaving.

The 34 year-old attacker is out of contract next week.

"Miccoli hasn't been a Palermo player since the end of the season," President Maurizio Zamparini told Sky Sport Italia.

"I hope that he is able to find a Serie A club because that is the championship that he deserves to play in."
