Palermo coach Francesco Guidolin has warned president Maurizio Zamparini they need to buy before the January market shuts.
After a dismal home defeat to Siena yesterday, Guidolin said: "This is a tough moment, as whenever the ball lands in our penalty area we seem to concede. We have to work on our defence and everyone has to get back to their best, not just a few elements.
"I don't want to talk about the transfer market, but we must do what we have to in order to become competitive."
