Palermo coach Stefano Colantuono insists he's playing Fabio Simplicio in the right role in his midfield.

Colantuono has been criticised by Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini over playing Simplicio as his prime playmaker, but the coach says: "Look, the president is right in his criticism.

"But I only say that Simplicio's ability is such that he is capable of being our playmaker. He can rotate with other midfielders in that position."
