Palermo sports director Walter Sabatini insists they have not accepted any Premiership offer for defender Simon Kjaer.

It was claimed that Kjaer had rejected a move to Manchester City after the Rosanero had accepted an offer for the Dane.

But Sabatini insists: "For Kjaer, I read that Palermo would have accepted offers but I can tell you this is lies. We have only received strong interest in the boy from English clubs in particular, but nothing more."

City and Manchester United are chasing Kjaer.
