Palermo sports director Walter Sabatini has taken a swipe at the agent of midfielder Fabio Simplicio.

The Brazilian is inside the final 12 months of his current deal and agent Gilmar Rinaldi is speaking with Palermo about a new agreement.

But Sabatini warned: "Gilmar is a strange one. He's nice and smooth but has a leaning for double talk: one that works for when he is in Brazil and one for when he is in Italy.

"We must make a summary and find the truth. However, it is not he who determines whether Simplicio is sold in January."
