Palermo chief Giorgio Perinetti says there's still some way to go before Matias Silvestre joins Inter Milan.

Inter are in talks with Palermo for the defender this week.

"We are still far from an agreement for Silvestre," Perinetti told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"There is currently nothing new and there have been no developments."
