Palermo vice-president Guglielmo Micciche is confident Fabrizio Miccoli will pen a new deal.

Micciche has calmed fans of the Rosanero by claiming that the goalscorer will put pen-to-paper soon.

"There are no problems with Fabrizio," he told tuttomercatoweb.com. "[Renewing his contract] is a task that falls to [new CEO Pietro] Lo Monaco, but he'll figure out the right to time talk and sign a new deal.

"I expect Miccoli to stay with us - he has told me himself."
