Palermo sports chief Rino Foschi spent yesterday in transfer talks.

Foschi met with Carlo Pallavicino, the agent of Livorno goalkeeper Marco Amelia and Empoli defender Andrea Raggi.

Amelia would arrive in Sicily as the club's new No1, despite the re-signing of veteran Alberto Fontana to a new one-year deal. Raggi is seen by Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini as a potential replacement for Andrea Barzagli.
