Palermo sports chief Rino Foschi says they're delighted with the form this season of fullback Federico Balzaretti.

He said: "Balzaretti is doing well for us and we are happy. He did not play in Florence (for Fiorentina) because he had more important players ahead of him in that role.

"We have done with him what we did with Franco Brienza and now he is doing well."
