Palermo coach Walter Zenga admits he'd love to take charge of Inter Milan in the future.
The former Inter goalkeeper is being monitored by the club's board and again impressed as his Rosanero players lost 5-3 last night.
"Unfortunately at the 40th minute of the first half I had written 'we're in this game' and then in those minutes lost three very unusual goals," said the Palermo boss of going 4-0 down at the break.
"We completely lost it and these things happen when faced by a squad of the calibre of Inter. However, my players did brilliantly to fight their way back into the match with hunger, determination and at one point truly believed they could get a result here. We should begin again from that attitude.
"Our mentality is not about defending. We attack, play football and try to challenge everyone. After the reaction everyone has great respect for this team and the players have belief in themselves."
Zenga was an Inter goalkeeper for many years and won the Scudetto, so he has been heavily linked with a future on their bench.
"We must immediately point out Inter have a great Coach who will do a lot for this club. I have a long contract with Palermo and hope to achieve wonderful things.
"When those contracts have expired, then we will see about making this extraordinary dream come true."
