Palermo attacker Franco Vazquez insists Italy is in his "heart" after being part of their 1-1 draw with England.

It marked the Argentine's debut for the Azzurri.

"Italy is my first choice and I made this choice with my heart. I think it is best for me and I'm happy to wear this jersey, which is very important for me."

Vazquez was asked about working with Italy boss Antonio Conte.

"He is very similar to Iachini in the way he prepares for games. We worked hard last week and I'm happy."
