Huachipito defender Carlos Labrin is set to join Palermo.

The 20-year-old defender is preparing the move from Huachipito to join his fellow countryman Mauricio Pinilla in Sicily.

"We have reached a deal for Labrin," Rosanero president Maurizio Zamparini told Sky Sport Italia.

"The player is already in Palermo for his medical, but cannot start working with the squad immediately, as he is a non-EU player.

"Therefore he will begin playing for the Rosanero from June."
