Palermo striker Fabrizio Miccoli has revealed he was the mystery buyer of Diego Maradona's confiscated earring.
The earring was sold for 25,000 on January 14 to a 'lady in red' who it now turns out was acting on Miccoli's behalf.
"Maradona's ear-ring is mine. I was the one behind 'the lady in red' at the auction," he told Dahlia TV.
Miccoli's son, Diego, is named after the Argentina coach.
