Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes the one-match ban given to midfielder Wilson Palacios for a second yellow card in the Blackburn match is too harsh for his actions.
Replays of Palacios' challenge on the Rovers David Dunn clearly show the Honduran pulling out of the challenge and despite this his red card stands and he is out of this weekend's clash with West Ham.
"It's a flawed system that you can't appeal against a yellow card when it's blatantly wrong," said the Spurs boss.
"It was as we all saw on TV. He doesn't make any contact whatsoever with the player. It's flawed that you can't appeal a yellow card and get it rescinded.
"It's crazy really, they surely could look at that and say it's the wrong decision and he's not made contact with the player. And it shouldn't count. He should be able to play this week."
