Crystal Palace prospect Kyle de Silva is ready to move out on-loan.
The youngster began pre-season training with the development squad at the start of the month and played in the 4-1 win at Beckenham Town last week.
De Silva told the Croydon Advertiser: "The aim is to get back in the first team squad.
"The team are in the Premier League now, credit for them doing that and a new manager has come in and done a terrific job. The main thing for me is to go out and get competitive games under my belt.
"There isn't anything concrete at the moment, I just want to get through pre-season. We'll see from there really.
"I think the manager wants us (the younger players) to go out and play on loan, to see if we can go out and handle it.
"But it's also to play regularly, and if we're ready I am sure he will know."
