Palace young gun Williams: It will be sad to see Zaha leave for Man Utd

Crystal Palace youngster Jonathan Williams admits it will be tough to see Wilfried Zaha depart the club.

The 20-year old winger will join Manchester United this summer after a stellar campaign with the Eagles which helped them seal promotion to the Premier League.

But now the South London club have to deal with life after Zaha and his fellow academy graduate Williams says there is some emotion in his exit.

"Wilf has been incredible this year," Williams told Sky Sports. "It is sad to see him go, because I played with him when we were younger.

"But he has deserved everything he has got, so I wish him all the best. I have never seen a player like him, to be honest."

Williams added: "It was a very special moment to be promoted with another Academy graduate on that day.

"I said to him (Zaha), 'this is what it is for'. We just could not believe what had happened."
