The winger will sit out the Whites' Easter programme with a hamstring strain - having already missed their last nine fixtures.
Leeds boss Brian McDermott said in the Yorkshire Evening Post: "Jimmy won't be fit for the weekend but he's still with us and he's doing his rehab here.
"I hope he gets the chance to play again because I'd really like him to properly show what he can do.
"Sometimes it doesn't work out for a player at a certain club, and he's not had an easy time here, but he's got so much to offer. We've all seen that from him in the past."
