Crystal Palace haven't dropped their pursuit of QPR striker Andy Johnson.
Johnson travelled to Palace's Beckenham training base on deadline day in the hope of signing for the Eagles but QPR reportedly pulled the plug on the deal after a fee was not able to be agreed.
Palace co-owner Steve Parish told the South London Press: "He won't be far from our thoughts in January.
"It's something we'll always consider. We'll keep in touch with him."
