Crystal Palace are moving for Spartak Moscow midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov.
The Sunday Express says according to reports in Russia the Eagles are set to sign the former Everton midfielder for just over £1m from Spartak Moscow.
Bilyaletdinov was loaned out to Anzhi Makhachkala for the second half of the Russian league season after a dispute with Spartak's management.
The 29-year-old's representative Jamie Holsgrove told Sky Sports: "Diniyar is a proven player having played at the highest level throughout his career, together with a strong demand for an experienced left footer, a deal should be completed quickly.
"Spartak are willing to listen to offers for him and there is interest in England and elsewhere across Europe."
