Bournemouth have launched an official bid to Crystal Palace for their striker Glenn Murray, according to Sky Sports.

It is believed the Cherries have been chasing Murray for some time, originally hoping to take the former Brighton, Rochdale and Carlisle forward on loan.

But Sky sources reported earlier this week that Palace would only part with the 31 year old if it was a permanent transfer.
